Paul Ryan heading to Las Vegas for fundraiser with Sheldon Adelson

On Tuesday, Mitt Romney's choice for Vice President, Congressman Paul Ryan (R-Wis.), will become the latest Republican politician to meet with billionaire casino magnate Sheldon Adelson, according to a report by the New York Times today on the “wide-ranging federal investigation” into Adelson's company and the “potential bribery of foreign officials and other matters.”

According to the story: "On Tuesday, Mitt Romney’s running mate, Representative Paul D. Ryan, is to appear at a fund-raiser at the Sands’s Venetian casino in Las Vegas; Mr. Adelson is likely to attend, according to a person close to him."

Adelson and his wife Miriam recently donated $10 million to the Romney-aligned super PAC, Restore Our Future. They also attended a fundraiser with Romney in Jerusalem, snagging front row seats.

Adelson and his wife have donated $36.3 million to political candidates and super PACs so far this cycle.
